The Deleware River - Bordentown, NJ
Located just south
of Trenton, NJ, The Deleware river provides a long stretch of great water. Deep,
clean and with conditions that rival most lakes.
The Bordentown
scene is Freshwater and also
Tidal. The tides run 2-4 feet, but don't affect the conditions much. there is
some issue with certain ramps for launching, but read below for more.
Location:
Bordentown is located
just south of Trenton, NJ directly on the Deleware river. It's easy
to get to via the NJ Turnpike and I295.
About
the River:
The river is tidal, with
a southern water flow. The bordentown ramp at low tide can be a
challenge for some drivers, carry some spare 2x4's about 1-3 ft
long just incase. You can obtain a ramp permit at the local police
station. Be sure to bring all of your boat/trailer documentation
as they will review it. Ramp fee is $10/daily

Around Town:
Bordentown
is a quaint ittle town that is great for Antiquing! Great little
shops and is very pleasant to the eye.
