Mullica River - Egg Harbor Township, NJ
Located west of Egg
Harbor City, the Mullica River is a fairly private spot for some great wakeboarding.

About
the River:
The tides on the Mullica are fast
and strong. There are big changes in depth with the tides.The law has changed
and all water sports are down after you go under the Lower Bank Bridge. During
to week you have the whole place to yourself. On the weekends the best time
to board are 7till 11am and after 6pm.The brackish water stains clothes so don't
wear white.
Water Temps: Water
temps don't allow much boarding Nov-April. May - Oct are great.
Expect 55-75 degrees in the warm months of the year.

Water: Brackish water with salt influence the further you head
toward the bay.

Directions:
* From North / South
o Garden State Parkway to exit 52.
o Follow CR 654 South, approx 1 mile to Route 9 South
o Right on Route 9 South and follow for approx 1.4 miles to CR 542.
o Continue on CR 542 for approx. 10 miles.
o Look for a brown sign on the left for Crowley's Landing.
o (Note: If you miss it you will come to Batsto which is 2 miles West.)
* From West
o Look on a Map where Route 30 and Route 206 meet.
o Head East for about 1.6 miles and make left on CR 542.
o Continue for 7 miles to Batsto, then 2 more miles to Crowley's Landing.
o Look for small brown sign on your right.

Launch area surface is: Concrete
Facilities: Rest Rooms picnic tables and charcol grills for
a BBQ.
Launching considerations / restrictions: $5.00 on weekends/free
during the week.Very busy on the weekends
Parking situation:
A large grass and sandy feild with painted parking lines in the summer. Once
its full they close the gate.

Comments:
On the river you will find 2 fuel docks,1 at Sweetwater casino and 1 at Mullica
river boat basin.From the ramp 1 is left and 1 is right.Matts riverside pizza,Forks
resturant and Sweetwater casio bar and resturant. When coming off of RT. 206
onto RT.542 just about 3 miles before the ramp there is a gas station and small
store called Farmer Johnny's for ice and sandwiches.
